Trad is Bad!

Nice to have a bit of shoot time at lunch earlier today. With new cardboard too! 😉 I'm using my pocket quiver instead of my hip quiver. I might be using this quiver for some small game later this year… 🤔 I know! I still need practice before then! 😂

I did some single-shot training with the wife’s horse bow. I think I need more training...

Grabbed the wife's horse bow for an hour or so of string training since it's been a few weeks… Well, I think it's gonna take more than a couple of hours to get back into it… Kinda glad I was just sticking cardboard…🙄

I feel like us Trad shooters tend to collect bows. My Olympic and compound shooter friends are always baffled when I show up to the range seemingly with a new bow every time.

How many bows do y’all have in your collection?

Not counting the bows I use for teaching, I own and shoot four bows regularly: My barebow recurve (34lbs, long limbs, Galaxy Solstice riser and Galaxy Gold limbs), my Viking age grave find replica longbow (42lbs, 75” long, Osage Orange), a Mariner Yuan asiatic recurve (30lbs, 51” long), and my Alibow Ming Emperor (25lbs, used for horseback archery).
