About Us

Tim Valentino at The Vegas Shoot

Thwack Life will change the way we interact with each other in the international target archery community.

            Why Thwack Life?

THWACK! The sound made when an arrow impacts a target. Or some version of that sound. Archery, for me, almost immediately became a passion, an obsession, an addiction. LIFE to some of us. To twist the words of Danny from "Ted Lasso," archery is life. So, I took the sound that represents archery in my head and combined it with what that means to so many of us here and the idea of Thwack Life was born.

At first it was just the name of the Instagram profile I used to document my new archery journey, and over time it became more. Come along. Let's take this journey together.

            Who is Thwack Life?

Thwack Life is you. All of you. All of us. The individuals who wake up thinking about archery and go to bed the same way after spending the day with it in our heads and our hands. By no means does that mean that those who aren't as dug into it aren't just as big a part of this, because you are. Maybe even more so.

This is a place for all of us to learn and share and grow. There is no one in this world that we all can't learn something from. And even though this community is for and of all of us, I am here to make sure that it stays a positive environment where we encourage one another and help each other grow. I am Tim Valentino. I started this, but once you are here, it is no longer mine.

The longer this goes on, the less you will see my face, and the more we will see all of yours.

         Where is Thwack Life going?

What you see today is not what Thwack Life will be tomorrow. There will be continual growth and evolution. There are many bells and whistles that I haven't even begun to add in yet, but the real growth will come from you. I want your ideas. We all want your ideas. We won't be able to implement all of them, but we will do our best to incorporate as many new ideas as possible into our community.

So, the real answer is, "that's up to you."
